What I'm (hate) watching: America's Worst Cooks
As I've told you before, while I'm in Italy all I can watch is the Italian catalog of Netflix. The random way they post some seasons of shows is part of the charm. They recently posted seasons 8 and 9 of Worst Cooks, which was a celebrity edition and a regular one. Here's my hate-watching case in a few screenshots:
I mean, in the non-celebrity season there was one contestant who was there because she has four boys and wants to be able to cook for them. And in that episode they cooked lobster. Lobster! Not practical.
But "not practical" makes for great entertainment, and the show really is entertaining. Contestants are trying really hard, which is what is important. Just don't get discouraged by the 3-4 "stations" that it takes to finish one recipe. I just have my table and my cooktop and that is enough.
